Provides technical support in research, design and development or may work in sales, installation, production or field service. Employment in laser and electronics manufacturing firms, research laboratories, hospitals, construction, communications firms, government and military settings. Laser applications also found in industries such as transportation, energy, public safety, environmental and entertainment.
