Human Resources Administrator  

Definition of Occupation

Responsible for hiring and providing programs for human resources in organizations with more than about 50-100 employees. Administers policies and procedures for recruitment, testing, placement, training, benefits, compensation and, in some cases, labor and employee relations. Implements government rules and regulations affecting equal employment opportunities, employee safety etc. Works in business, nonprofit and government organizations. Undertakes all employee-related functions in small organization. A large organization will employ specialists in recruitment, compensation, etc. who report to the overall human resource administrator. This profile covers human resource generalist.
