Definition of Occupation

Instructs middle or junior high school students in physical and life sciences or mathematics. Instructs high school students in areas such as biology, chemistry, physics, earth and space sciences, algebra, geometry, trigonometry, calculus, discrete mathematics, probability, statistics and computer science. A few teach in elementary schools that have special, rather than regular classroom teachers for mathematics and/or science.
