Definition of Occupation

Operates equipment to produce X-rays of the body to diagnose medical problems such as tumors, ulcers, broken bones and for examining specific body functions such as digestion, circulation or heart action. Works independently under direction of radiologist or other physician.

DO NOT CONFUSE with Radiologist, who is licensed physician trained to interpret radiographic images.
