Definition of Occupation

Works at PK-12 levels in public and private schools. High school and middle school counselor guides students in making decisions about school curriculum, careers and training and/or helps them solve personal problems. In all settings, may provide classroom guidance, train peer facilitators and organize programs to meet students' developmental and special needs. Meets with students to provide individual and/or small group counseling.
