Definition of Occupation
Flies airplanes and helicopters to carry out a wide variety of tasks. Many fly for major, national, turbojet or regional passenger airlines and air freight companies. Some ferry executives to meetings in corporate jets and helicopters. Others fly small planes and helicopters on highly specialized missions such as crop dusting or inspecting power lines. A considerable number are flight instructors. On large aircraft there may be more than one pilot in cockpit. May have first officer and flight engineer on board.
