Definition of Occupation

Landscaper: Installs and maintains planting arrangements according to designs of landscape architect or private individual. May specialize in lawn/garden care or grounds maintenance. Sometimes called a horticulturist. Nursery manager: In small establishment grows and sells trees, shrubs and plants; in large commercial nursery supervises workers who perform all horticultural labor. May be employed by wholesale nursery, selling to landscapers and large public/private gardening operations, or may run retail garden center, selling plant materials and gardening supplies to individual consumers.
